Thank you everyone.
I will try the anti-dieseling solenoid first and then i will put the electronic ignition anyway, but want to try before i put it. It isn`t a question of solving the problem now, it is the will to know WTF is wrong with the engine and what is causing it!!

I think you might be headed in the right direction with the dizzy, you may have gotten a burr on the points and then it cleared itself after driving and than cooling. I would think that an electronic dizzy would help in many areas and it will outperform the point system, most consider it a must upgrade.

could it be when the motor is getting hot the pistons expand and cause the vacume to increase and need to run faster to keep itself running

sounds stupid but im bored and need to do something :)

try doing a compression test when its cold then doin one when its hot ?

the anti-dieseling valve gave be grief when I was setting up an a12 in a morris minor. The damn thing wouldnt run below 3000 rpm and always backfired out each end. I disabled the anti-dieseling valve and all was good after that.

I`m having some problems again with my A14 engine. I fixed that carburetor problem and all the vacuum problem also and the car`s been running daily till then, i never had problem until yesterday. I went to put a set of wheels in my uncle( he fix broken wheels) and from there i went shopping and the car runed great and like a clock. When i finished the shops and turn the car somehow it didn`t stay running unless i was constantly giving it throtlle( it is hard for a automatic car!!) and run home all the way trying to giving it accelaration when i had to stop in a red light or something. But this morning the car is fine, it starts and stays running like always!

Could this be the Dizzy? Would this happened if i had a electronic one?
Thanks in advance!
