det has a oil cooler( water to oil ) would run oil cooler cause thay dont hold much oil and oil gets hot under boost conditions

as written before i have 2 ca's one has an enginr cooler mounted on the block where the filter screws on and one doesnt. tried to find some info on this but done no good.thinking of swapping the cooler setup to the engine without it (engine with cooler is shagged). does anyone run one of these engines without the cooler without any problems? will probably end up fitting the cooler for better reliability but was just curious.
