Angle grinder matey. Would highly recommend not using a drill to much kickin around for this kind of work bit deadly.

Are you using a drill or angle grinder?

Yeah when I go back there mate its a 60 grade bunnings job. Probably would recommend going the 80 grade as the 60 is pretty brutal. Slight gouging but we wanted that to get rid of all the old paint and surface rust etc.. and it is underneath so a layer of body deadener will sort all that.

Did Some flapper disc and wire wheel work today bare metalled tunnel and surrounding areas. found a couple of rust pin holes to plate Fun Fun and little more stitching to do. Then on to wire wheel and flapper disc front rails and engine bay for priming. Average phone pics.

Nah mate i went to a mates tyre shop and grabbed a heap of old tyres. Sat it down on a few 2 each side front and rear of sills then lay a few around the side i wanted it on and lifted it up gently with me misses there telling me all is good. It wont damage it mate if ya worried use a couple of old mattresses and shield them from burning with something like fire blankets.

That white ute looks good mate!
Nice and clean and the fender mirrors look real good.

Question; Did the tipping the ute on its side do any damage to the pannels you tipped it on? I think i want to do the same to mine but bit worried it will end in tears

Yeah Also doubt i will have the same wheels. The color is my main inspiration and it just looks clean and original. Think it was submitted by matbighat.
