You can use stop leak for 6 months without risnsing in your old falcon, worked as treat.
For that you have require a small crak in the cylinder head.
put the stop leak in for a few hours, drain then refill with coolant works every-time.

i am amazed they didnt stop that race after a few crashes on that same corner.....that track was just too wet
