The Honeybee B210 was a base trim level\campaign in America. It was the 2 door sedan, no carpet, 4 speed, A14 California spec engine? the comparable thing I can think of is how Holden had the beep beep Barina and all thier other crap versions of that car...

I'm always amused by these things: I have the book in question and I too noticed the 1200 in the picture, having had a 1200 on 2 wheels it takes some serious doing (even on a racetrack) to pop one up in the air. Now I will tell you people often think the coupe is a B210 and even after I tell them it's a 1200 I still get to hear " we had a honeybee what a great car" . None of us think 120's or 120Ys rival a Ferrari 246 or 365 but they're a long way from a Pacer

It's hard to bag on an 4 cylinder engine that makes all its torque from 3200rpm. There still seems to be quite a lot of n13s around...

I hearby sentence that wanker to 10,000km in a Trabant driving to mongolia,great value bulletproof car and styling is when all said and done an individual thing and cannot be adjudicated by any one person.

Like most Journo's he is a graduate of the Uni system and therefore a left wing trotskyite who hates the commercial sucess Nissan Datsun had with the 120Y,they gave the world what it needed and if they had come up with a simple effective rear drive model a few years back they would have never been inflicted with Renault ownership and still been kickass competitive,Nissan just needed something a bit more entry level than the Silvia.

An engine that is not from nissan is what
obviously made the n13 pulsar a lemon.

I for one think there are worse cars than a
Camira especially like a Magna or Sigma.
Followed by Holden Commondore and boxy falcons.

My fav 80s car in australia would have to be
the a 60s car made till the early 80s with
full chrome steel bumpers and chrome
finishing all round and slant 6 bulletproof
engine still used by John Deere tractors.
90% of other RWD 80s cars pretty boxy then
but not the chrysler CL or CM wagon.
