not really much has happened lately with this girl, got my brakes back from Kevs, been sanding and prepping stuff.

there is some exciting stuff though, paid for and waiting on delivery of a race/rally prepped A14 from some dude Jake (tuf110) knows and the EFI setup from rally1200.

just waiting on delivery of those goodies and saving for rust repairs, hopefully on the road by xmas.

not much has happened here since the birth of my son but a small update anyways.

struts are at Kev Roweleys getting the S13 disc and caliper treatment, most of the steering stuff has been pulled out and new ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, control arm bushes, castor rod bushes and idler bush has been ordered so should see them in a couple weeks and put the front end back together yay.

floors are a bit nicer and next weekend will be ready for the new carpet yay.

debating wether to remove windscreen and rear window to clean up some rust now or do it in a year or so when the whole car is closer to getting a full respray.

ah you may have to be my friend to see my pics.

did a little today, got me some dry ice and bashed the tar stuff off the floor in three sections to better see the rust, cleaned it up a bit and smashed it with rust converter. with a bit more mucking around over the next week or two ill have the floors in a happier place and the new carpet sorted.

does anyone know a dash guru? mine has more tears then a tissue at a snot party.

nah no caliper yet ive got to ring a bloke this weekend if no luck there i will search for other alternatives... i didnt want to have to do a big front brake conversion this early but maybe it will be a blessing in disguise.

havent done much lately but have replaced ignition barrel, indicator stalk, and picked up a steering wheel and boss kit cheap so all that is looking neat except indicator stalk has different wiring which will get looked at when i start sorting all the other electrical shiz out.

also the plastics covering the steering column were all kinds of messed up and all held together with black electrical tape so im looking into some kind of replacement and having the hazard switch relocated to the dash somewhere...

this is changing from a quick fix to a massive piece of work lol

drove the ute for the first time tonite since i bought it!!! drove about 5 metres forward out of my garage then reversed it back in and a little bit further over so i have more room lol. not much of a drive but its good to know it moves.

bad points; gearbox is sloppy, very sloppy like will be searching for another very shortly. passenger front calliper is siezed or something not really sure but definitely something wrong there, electrical/lighting issues, lol that is all for now and that little drive so apart from the rust and pretty much having to replace every panel apart from the turret there is plenty of hours of fun in this bad boy.
