"Engenieering cars for modifications is fair and just. Power to weight ratios for engine conversions is fair and just. Making 30year old cars comply with current ADR's IS NOT fair and just.
Limit the choices of engine transpalnts into cars. Car is Naturally aspirated, must remain so etc.. There should be no limits on brake modifications, they only make a 30year old car safer. Let common sense prevail. Upgrading a 1.3 lt car na to 1.6 or 1.8lt na should not be a crime if the engine is similar age."

Don't get too excited about the doom and gloom. Not too many changes for 1200s.
Enforcing seatbelts, collapsible steering column and window washer system on pre-ADR vehicles is common sense.

Removal of intermediate weight class affects larger Bluebirds maybe.

My comment: "Modifying cars is our passion, why try and make the things we love even harder to achieve? 99% of the community go by the books to modify and engineer their cars legally. Punish the 1% that dont"

"This will effect enthusiast who modifie the older cars out of love a passion, more than it will hoons and dickheads. You can drive like an idiot in anything, and most of these enthusiast wont be willing to put there pride and joy at risk to have some wanker tell them how 'SICK!" they are."
