Yep hand polished by yours truly. Just Put the car on stands stuck the wheel on and put it in first or second an go at it with wet sandpaper. Started at 120 to remove big scratches then went 240, 360, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 then purples metal polish. Took around an hour and a half per wheel.

Any one recommend where to get it welded and whatnot in adelaide? I'm thinking wheel works. 2 centers stripped 2 to go then painting centers then polishing lips

Hey I've got a set of Mk2's I'm looking to polish. The lips are currently painted silver but one rim has pitting on it
![]() should I still try and polish it. The pitting is gonna stand out way more once polished. Any idea what I can do to fix it or should just take the one wheel to the professionals to get it done. The other 3 wheels are fine. You can view topic.
