by the time you buy a set of carbies off a different car, then get them freshened up and jetted to suit, ThEN the cash for an a series twin carb manifold you may as well have just bought these and youde probably still be better off.

Price and quality performance parts go hand in hand.
You had better look for a downdraft instead, those are about $100 bucks.

$600 would be great. I can provide the jetting but that'll influence the price a fair bit. Trumpets included as well as the redline filter assemblies, bought new about 3 months ago.
Carbs are by far the best set I've come across, consistent with the previous owners story that they were new when put on the engine. Cosmetically they are great, mechanically.....superb. All threads are neat and crisp and the brass caps for the pilot jets and progression holes are nice and straight. One screw securing one of the throttle valves is stuck, that's no big deal really unless you want to remove it. But there is no need to remove it. You can tell how old or well kept carbs are by how much distortion/damage there is around the screwdriver slots (damage is normally caused by people using incorrect screw driver size o over-tightening or simply because of the age of the carbs). These are nice and straight. Can provide pics of the freshly rebuilt one tomorrow, second one is getting built now. Tops are black gloss not matte black, and look quite good. I can have them as matte black if you prefer or remove the paint entirely.

Webers still here. Rebuilding them now. Any takers? (they're without jets though)
