A14 And A15 rods have a different pin to crown height pretty sure it's 2mm or so. Maybe that's what it is? (A14 rod and pistons in A15 block).

a14/15 conrods question

hey all, just want to know if the a14 conrods will work on a a15 crank and block, the a15 sub i bought seems to have the conrods shortened as the pistons are about 2mm from the face of the block when engine is tdc. i'm building na high compression so this might be a draw back. i'm planning to put 78.5mm mazda e5 high comp pistons in, i know the mazda pistons needs the gudging pin hole modified and also some mm's taken off the top of the pistons, which i might n not need to do since the conrods are shorter. any suggestions will be appreciated
