Bumperettes are superlight and made from damaged
bullbar alloy (very thick), took me a while to figure out the shape but the first is perfect just needs polishing and support welded up on the rear for original bumper brackets.

alternator upgrade, internal fan and regulator + 65amps
Best to use original 1K bracket on left rear section cut up and add metal plate with holes as illustrated in yellow. Instead I went the hard way and had Simon make me one from 2 1200 brackets as illustrated on right. Thanks Simon! Mitsubishi alt from mazda 929 83-86 model many other mazdas carry them in vans for example. part number on inset.

I think theres more room in a 1200 hence the L series a much longer beast
fitting easier. At worst it would be easy to fit a straight brass threaded tube it just that I had this one available at the time. I used 2 pack steel putty to seal up the top breather and a thin bog layer.

That might fit a 1000, but is there enough room on the back for a 1200?
