my mate has a Kaaz 1.5 in a 165 center with ute 4.1 ratio. There was also some machining involved as he pointed out the pinion gears' unique new shape

Hey Andrew, I'd stick with the hilux setup with the power you're running, you'll bust plenty of axles in a h165, which are getting hard to find now, if you are interested though I'm running r31's on the back of mine so you can come have a look if you want, if you don't need a hand brake you can run commodore rear calipers.

Now thats what im talking about! A few questions??
Is it available in a 1.5 way? Can you post or pm a price? Is it easy to come past 4.8ish gears for h165? What about disc conversions? R31?

Just after options on what LSD centers are available for H165 (ute?) diffs? It has to be a mechanical center, for race use only...
Also, what rear discs to people fit to the H165's? Has anyone fitted R31 discs? I currently have a hilux diff, locked center with R31 discs, looking to save some weight! You can view topic.
