Hate to keep referrig to Ford but if you want a look like Franks horn ute go for Ego (EG) or the new version which is Edge (ED). Edge is a bit more of a blue undertone.

Yeah thanks for the input guys, i just had a look through Franks project, holy moly is that a clean ute!! Pretty much, in essence, thats the exact color i want.... lol
Ive been looking at a few colors and theyve all been around that color!

you might want to try graphite grey. i prefer graphite grey than gun metal grey.

I haven't seen the colour in the flesh yet but there is a new Ford colour coming called "Smoke" which looks nice.
Being sales manager at a Ford dealership I hate to say this but Holden has what looks to be a similar colour in their Commodore range that looks really good.

im looking at gun metals too as im painting my coupe that colour, a few of my faves are
moonrock metallic- honda s2000 colour (prob my choice)
new lotsu exige grey is pretty nice in the flesh but dark
lexus 4x4 grey is nice too but very metallic
new toyota corolla acsent grey is nice also
or as armiee said the mazda 6s look good
since ive been looking ive noticed that a lot of the new cars are greys it must be the new black or the inn thing

go for the S15 grey

The new Nissan GTR is a winner, or the latest Mazda6 gun metal is pretty deep! Just go to a caryard and walk through looking for greys you like

Hi guys im looking to find some really tuff gun metal grey colours, ive been looking for a while now but nothing that ive liked ive been able to find the actual colour numbers.... Im looking for something thats not to dark yet not too light. Can any of you colour experts help out a newbie? I would like just to learn more stuff about painting and colours....
