Well, that turned into a dead end. Finally, after ages trying to get the bloke to get back to me about it, he finally does to tell me he sold it. Oh well. It wasn't meant to be. It has cOnfirmed to me what I need to do.

The good shell at jmacs and the parts that are with it. Would need to sit it on some old tyres or even a mattress. It took me and the misses 15 hours to drive the coupe from here to narre warren south. That was just driving time we stopped over night and had quite a few break stops. If it made it any easier we could meet you at Newcastle with a car trailer and swap it over.

How long did it take you to drive to Melbourne in the coupe? Which one do you want up there? The shell or is there another you've bought?

Who wants to lend a trailer for the possible road trip?

You could always transport me coupe up here and drop it off its a few hours further north. Then go get the y on and head back then we both win out and I'm more than happy to pay for transport of the coupe which would cover some costs.

Unfortunately it needs a donk due to compression issues.

I reckon it would cost me around $250 to $300 in fuel, plus food and accommodation if I went that route. At least if I did it that way I could grab the spare engine and extra's. And then there's the trailer. I'd need to rent or borrow a trailer. If I rent one it would cost a bit.
