from my pdf copy of an aftermarket manual: 87 to 123 ft-lb for the pinion nut and for the preload it says to wind string around the pinion flange coupling and then measure the drag with a spring balance while pulling it. Should be 6-8lb/in with drums and wheels removed.
Also has a pic of tooth mesh pretty much centered.

Does anyone know the specs to properly set up a 145 diff? Pinion depth, preload, mesh clearance? Pinion nut torque?
