Probably the switch, I can't think how else that would happen? Any other ideas? I'd pull the switch apart and clean it, pretty easy to get out.

That is not normal. It should light instantaneous.

Hey guys quick one.
When my car is cold and I pull the headlight switch there is a 5 second delay before the lights actually switch on. They are the standard sealed beam type. Is this normal?
