rally1200 where are the valves from?
I would like a set of 44mm inlets and 38mm exhausts for my ca20e head. The valve springs Im looking for smaller diameter double valve springs so I can get away with more angle/height by machining the port higher. The rocker arms are alloy already but I wouldnt mind using mazda or ford roller tipped ones modded to fit.

LOL 'completely hollow valves' sounds like they're made of nothing. Sorry I meant hollow stem and or hollow valve head.

Chuck some fruit my way.
To increase speed (or revs/rev-response for that matter) add lightness You can get completely hollow valves too, not sure how much though.

OK, so those titanium valves do look good and probably work good too..
I agree, strength quite often means more weight which can be counterproductive when you are chasing a few extra revs.. I am going to be looking at titanium valves, pushrods, collets when my money tree finally matures and starts to fruit.. ![]()

More weight = bigger springs, more stress on subsequent parts.
More weight + bigger, heavier valves + bigger springs = More + More + more stress on rocker shaft, rocker bolt threads, cam lobes, tappets etc etc. Having said that I can't say I've ever run these. And I haven't heard of any catastrophic failures as a result of people running them. If they reduce the rev limit and save the wear on the valve stems and generally promote longevity then I might buy a set for my stock A15 (when I have money )

I would agree, I installed a set on my rally car and was getting terrible valve float at 7500rpm with good Jeff Taylor valve springs went back to standard rockers and it revs back to 8100rpm no problems.
not only are the rockers 20% heaver than standard allot of the extra weight is on the tip (roller) which increases the momentum. I think I will just keep my set for the trophy shelf as they do look good.

the stockys do the job pretty well with good springs and
you best spend the money on titanium valves instead which will be cheaper, not to mention halve the weight.

Yeah ebay dude has had excess stock for years, he's just ridding some unwanted and old stock. I think they used to sell for about $1000.00 (excluding the pushrods) so either deal you go it might be better priced.
Might be worth telling our kiwi mates? Not sure, don't really want to interfere with Yella Terra business. You can view topic.
