Hi Shoota,

I buy it direct from them.
you can prob get it through other distributors now, but I've used these guys for years.
www.ppc.au.com

I prefer to brush it on... I'm asthmatic and even using the correct respirators it chokes me up.

but if I must spray it i use an old touch up gun and thin it about 15%... you need to clean your guns well as it sets like rock.

no pressure packs are available as far as I know.

Cheers

Ed

Hey Ed.
Where's the best place to get POR 15 from?
Do you spray it with a spray gun or just pressure packs?

Update..

ended up cleko'ing the beaver on and then trial fit to butt join it.. after making a few manipulations and relief cuts here and there, everything lined up reasonably well. no brainer only took about 2 hours... will adjust the final panel gap by manipulating the tailgate edges.

just needs a coat of paint (POR15) on the reverse side and box section and ready to tack into place.

Cheers

thanks Grant I'm getting the pic now... the tail light corners have a step down flange, and the beaver sits on this... this helps alot, I was wondering why I couldn't get the beaver any closer in..

Cheers

Ed

there's a flange in behind the beaver panel. it's attached to the tail light panel and the beaver panel is spot welded to this (2 or 3 from memory) and then sealant over top down the seam

Here's the diagram. The lowest piece is the exterior rear panel:

The round part on the panel is where the round tailgate rubber bumper bolts.

thanks ddgonzal,

I will prob end up playing with it until it jut fits. I did think of just cleko'ing the panel on top of the other and then running the cut off wheel thru it.

will just fit it up to get the best fit.

Cheers

I dunno. Here's how to original fits
I believe it is a BUTT fit, and does not fit under or over the corner panels. The factory manual diagram is not very clear.
