i had a look on the tech file but its a bit vague Look at E15 Electronic Distributor Swap which has detailed information (maybe too much info). Cost is about $65 AUD for a used distributor from the wreckers. I bought one for $12.50 from the local wreckers, and it fits directly in my A14. No mods are needed except to changeover the drive gear. Use a suitable hold-down clamp instead of the bolt-down bracket that comes with the dizzy. Only two wires to connect, just like the original 1200 distributor. I think this solution is technically superior to Pertronix.

There are no instructions here, as when you buy a Pertronix item it comes with instructions.
But there is detailed information and photos in the club tech wiki at Pertronix.

E15 doesn't have a gear. But the distributor is the same Hitachi type as A-series, so just swap the gear. See the many photos at E15 Electronic Distributor Swap.

Does the E15 dizzy gear have the same profile and tooth count? What did N10's have? Theres an N10 at the local wreckers, definitely not an A-series in it

The non crossflow head is not a weakness at all
the more I think of it, its a good design for swirl to aid the kidney chamber. The pulsar ignition from e15 83 to 85 models are easy to use as DD has said but you can also use larger washers on the base to lift the dizzie up so the cog sits right as it usually is too deep.

Its pretty straight forward mate you should be fine.
Mine was not an actual pertronix brand but it works very well, pretty cheap from Ebay aswell.

Pertronix is the brand name. Isn't there a step by step installation guide in the tech wiki on here?
