Be better off saving up for an A15 and working it in n/a form IMO.

Thanks for that guys you've been very helpful. Yeah its not going to be road registered and i'd just put it in an old banger for some fun depending on how reliable the engine was.

300hp ,that motor wasnt a stocker and is purely a dyno pony ,and was efi with alot of internal work

Alot of money for that type of engine ,would be better off just putting a nice draw through turbo setup on a stocker a12

I thought about it for a while ,but twins sound better haha

Sikyne A12 250hp+ ATW (someone confirm?)

Topgear A12 100kw+ ATW

i *think* ive seen a dyno graph of a stock motor here, 128 hp ATW. stock bottom a12 with h89 and stromberg carb. drawthrough setup.

i take it this is for either a dyno pony, or the car is destined for the dump.
and that you plan to give the car a hiding.

when you say engine life, ill assume that everything else will cope with the extra torque and HP? else id bet a another part of the drive line will fail.

for such short engine life, you wouldnt bother with any special internals. you could just gamble with any old smoker, although a good internals will give you better tunability. eg better heat management,

max HP its hard to say,but my guess around 120hp before things go to custard real quick

do some search on here bro, there's a fair bit of info, if you wanted reliable, 100hp at the treads, of course there will be people with more or less.. there are so many variabls

#1 A12 Turbo power?

So here is a theoretical i've been wondering about, How much power would a A12 with decent cam, A15 head be able to produce with a blow through turbo set up. With boost coming on From 3500-4000 RPM what kind of turbo on what amount of PSI would create as much power as possible while still being able to have the engine last for 5-8 months daily use? Any oppinions would be appreciated.
