Freshen up the A12 and chuck some bike carbies and a fuel reg on it. Need to see more of this.
A few tips, a mate chucked some Keihin CVK's off a 600 on his dunger a12 and it ran fine apparently. He just chopped the standard intake manifold off about 30mm from the face of the head, chopped up a bombadore rad hose, and hose clamped everything together. ![]()

In theory to the subject at hand
the wagon i just got has not much rust but i did have a look at the rear tail light section today as i was interested to see for myself mine is a 71' model i did notice that there was a bit of rust on the left hand side around where the tail light seats but the only thing i could think of why they would rust there over time is the rubber seals that seal the tail light to the body where buggered or deteriated over time due to mosture sitting there... other than that i'm sure there is no design fault, hope you find a nice wagon got to love them....good luck..

cant say any of my 3 have rust there that i noticed...cant say i have had much look at the other 2 wagons
They rust in all the same places as other 1200s, only difference would be looking under the stip that runs along the back of teh rear cabin floor section. mine have all rusted there to some degree

For your info the member is actually looking for a wagon they even have a wanted add. We also answered there question by describing our wagon which challenges the theory that they all rust in this place. Your reply on the other hand gives no info about wagons.

Hi Andy,
I think the question was a general one about rust spots. But nice try turning it into a For Sale thread for your wagon shell EDIT: I fully admit to not having any experience with Wagons or any desire to spend 2 grand on a rolling shell ..... David

Wont find any in my wagon, other than the bit i have pics of. It has one bit about the size of a 50 cent piece under dash. Also has had bigger tunnel fitted for conversion if thats your thing. Wanting around $2000 for it but its a rolling shell with all panels.

thanks Chris, just curious coz the 1200 wagon i sold had major rust in the mounting brackets of the driver side tail light and i've seen another 1200 wagon with small amounts of rust around the outside of the tail light just havent seen if the mounting brackets are rusted too.
