thanx guys.
some good info there. i had a tailshaft made for my coupe improved prod car years ago and it has a big round flange with h165 bolt pattern on back of tailshaft. as the car has L20 and 240k box i must have used a bluey tailshaft (cut down) but i can't remember. thanx

Try & find a 120Y Borg Warner tailshaft & fit a Series 1 Bluebird 4 speed rear yoke, & get the tailshaft cut to the same length as a 1200 ute length. This will give you removable 25 mm unis that were also used in most Holdens (HQ,etc). The early Bluebird shaft uses the 25mm uni's with a H165 rear pattern. I've used the same combo in a Sunny I do motorkhana's in, didn't trust the standard tailshaft unis & they were the peened in variety anyway. I got the tailshaft from Stewart Wilkins Rallying, he called it the 'green' one, because it's painted green. Already had the Borg Warner tailshaft.

really cheap shaft masters
if you buy from them on your credit card make sure you tell the wife. (it might cause issues if someone sees shaftmaasters on a credit card statement)

yes steve, they can upgrade unis on standard shaft... though price doesnt seem to differ from getting a whole brand new shaft nicely balanced. best option is to supply yoke and diff flange and get whole new shaft i think (best ot provide measurement from end of gearbox output shaft to diff flange mounting face to ensure new one is made to correct length for your setup.
jeff lagerway in knox/ferntree gully vic 97584015 he is very strongly reccomended in many car/4wd modifying circles. i have had him make around 5 shafts just for me

get a shaft made with bigger unis (ar at least unis upgraded in a ute shaft)... ute one will blow unis with hard launches
you can get a whole new shaft which will be much stronger for 220, or 330 if you dont supply gearbox yoke and diff flange
