First I have my car now very close on jetting, I actually went down one size on the Pilot Jet and the mixture screws are within half a turn of what I would expect.................I need to do one final adjustment. The car isn't belitng out big power below 3K but it now runs decent.

As for the Motorsports Camshafts..............they are pretty radical, generally run with 14-1 compression , which is needed because of the overlap.

If the cam is already in the car you can simply measure the difference between full lift and closed. On duration you can get a rough estimate..............the crank pully is marked for TDC you can mark the pully in 90 degree increments then 45, then 15.............this is a totally hillbilly method but you get a rough idea.

With the cam out of the car you can kind of do the same keeping in mind the crank turns 2 times.......again it will be really rough. You can measure the lift with a dial caliper. I did this with my cam before I had it checked with a cam doctor. My hillbilly numbers were about 95%......................way off but close enough to get an idea.

When I said factory I meant Nissan Motorsport......With that kind of duration it is a full race cam,at its best on the track in an engine with all the good bits in it,like oval port head with bigger valves and big carbs, like 45DCOE's that would require sufficient flow and pressure (I suppose they didn't want people trying to use the mechanical pump anyway,so they left the pump cam out). The '82' is just an identifying mark.As far as I know the factory race cams were marked 70 (280°),74 (296°),80 (320° with 9.5mm lift),80A (320° with 10.5mm lift) and 82 (328°).Did you only get the camshaft or the complete engine?

im sorry for not getting this clearer....u mean this is a stock cam instead of performance cam??

10.5mm lift, 328degree duration...what about stock a15 cam?? lift?? duration?? whats the different??

so what is the no.82 stands for?? i found no number on my stock a15 camshaft compare to this cam...no fuelpump cam too...i have to use electric fuel pump with this cam...

That is a factory camshaft,P/N 13001-H5713.Duration is 328 degrees, valve lift is 10.5mm (0.413).Valve timing is 62-86-86-62.I think it is the biggest cam the factory made for the A-series engine.
