The A12 can cruise at 4000 RPM all day, so it is good to go at only 3200 RPM.

My old datsun 1000 vb10 sat at 3200 on 100kph
and had good economy same as the kb10 coupe I had so if you think its too noisy then you could go for a 3.7 or 3.9 if it has the 4.11 at the moment but if it has the original diff ratio in her you could try slightly larger diameter tyres or wheel combo.

hi i was wandering with my 3 speed auto with an a12 at 80km/h it sits at 3000rpm and at 100km/h its around 3200rpm im guesing this is normal as the transmission reaches 3rd gear. But it seems a bit high to me?
