I am running 3 inch from turbo back to axle.
From axle its flanged and reduced to 2 3/4inch.
I have r31 diff and standard fuel tank,it clears tank and
chassis rail by around 10mm each side..needs to be fixed well to avoid rattles.
I have a magnaflow metal cat and magnaflow muffler, all flanged for easy removal.
car is quite off boost but roars when it comes on.
running 204rwkw.
Make sure you your gearbox mount has big "v" to get pipe closer to body for road clearance and choose an experienced exhaust fitter.

3 inch. But it's gets a bit noisy and heavy and is difficult to get over the rear axle if you want to run a watts linkage or panhard rod. Above 200kw you start needing 3 inch.

gday,

booked car in for new exhuast on friday, current is old 1.75"

was thinking 2.5" mandrel bend with cat and some muffler

but wondering what other people have done

this is for a coupe with h190 diff, so i have no idea if 2.5" will fit over the diff? maybe it will need to split into two pipes

im hoping all this will stay over 100mm off the ground

i need to get the car engineered

does anyone know the diameter of the stock silvia exhaust?

the motor is currently stock but after engineering i will prob want to fiddle with it

is 2.5" the normal size or are people using 3"?

i have the maddat 3" dump pipe on the car at the moment, and plan to retain that
