I had 165/50s on trx wheels and they were about flush mounted with no stretch. The same tyres on 7" looked really tops though

Yeah you stretch tyres so you can clear your guards so the tyre wont scrub and able to run wide wheels with low offsets. if you have skinny wheels i would run fat tyres to fill the guards. like my rears are 14x8 -14 offset even with abit of flaring im still running 185/60/14 on a 8" to clear my guards, but i may get away with 195

Hey mate there's no point stretching a tyre over a wheel that is only 5.5inches wide...it wouldn't look right because the wheel is already so skinny, if you were looking for a slighty stretched look you'd need to be doing it with wheels that are of the 8inch plus width

Hey guys I'm up for the new tyres and wonderin has anyone put a 165/50 on a Trx rim? Currently runnin 175/50 on the rear and just wantin that slight stretch look. Cheers
