Maybe someone else here will know if the heater will work off the front of the cylinder head.

Unfortunately I don't have clearance to remove the rear plug as the a12 is in an Austin a30 the temp gauge is mechanical

the a12 i have has the rear heater outlet blanked That's just a plug. You can unscrew it. I would not Tee into the temp sender port. It'll raise havoc with getting a good temp signal. The heater hoses run in a loop from the Cylinder head to the heater core then back to the lower radiator hose. So you need two places to tap into. Just obtain this from Nissan spares or a wrecker, and fit to the back of the head: ![]()

hi guys the a12 i have has the rear heater outlet blanked I was just going to use the front outlet where the temp sender is.. was just wondering what the thread size in to the block is and if anyone knew where i could get a t piece?
alternatively i was considering just running the heater hose out and splitting it on the hose for a temp sender and then the heater outlet.. would that work having my heater run off the front hole? Cheers, Tom You can view topic.
