A couple of years back on Race-cars.com in the parts section someone was selling an LZ head under formula pacific parts.......it was fairly cheap around $1500 as it need drive gears and some other bits.

factory L-banger.(were sold factory just not with the twincam head)
was faster than the gtrs and z cars too.
the LZ twin cam survived in racing into the 80's (touring cars, formula atlantic, even WRC. check out the 600hp tomica R30 skyline jtgc car no FJ's there!!)
PB series are cool i'd love to own one.(or put the front on a ute)

1973 technology, and a bespoke cylinder head. Just imagine if nissan had sold those on their production cars! Jam a couple of bar of boost down it's throat, and blitz everything in sight.
