I understand that you only wish to search for items that match your
keyword search. I was able to investigate on this matter and the items
that you are referring to that is included in the search page. Checked
on the first item you reported which was a Vacuum cleaned and it was
included in the search page due to the best match rule. The best match
will include any items with the word Datsun in the listing. The item was
indicated that it has compatible makes with Datsun in the listing that
is why it was in the search pages for the word "Datsun". If you find
some items that should not be in the said search list feel free to
report the item at once by clicking on the report button located on the
listing. That will generate a report to our Trust and Safety team to
review the item if it was listed correctly and if it is spamming the
keyword search pages.

I bought an exa off eBay, the day I paid for my item the seller told me the car wouldn't run or drive, I call eBay and wanted to stop my payment as the car was not as discribed, they said cars are not covered in there "buyer protection" act! I said payment has not cleared! They said call PayPal! I called PayPal and said I can't to stop payment, they said only eBay can do that as it had cleared at paypals end just not at ebays side! So they put me onto eBay again, then I was told by eBay they would contact seller and get my money back!
Cut a f'd story short I have a $1670 piece of #OOPS# at Rc house cos ebay and PayPal couldn't do crap!
I was also told to speak to the local police and did, they told me to seek legal advise! Yeah more fn money! #OOPS#en cut my losses and move on

Thankyou for that absolute rubbish reply. The problem with every single response so far from every individual that has replied to this matter is the advanced toolbar suggestion. Back to my standard response, as eBay Australia is failing to understand that I_SHOULD_NOT_HAVE_TO_USE_THE_ADVANCED_TOOLBAR_TO_ELIMINATE_SUCH_ITEMS_THAT_ARE_NOT_DATSUN_RELATED_IN_MY_DATSUN_KEYWORD_SEARCH_THAT_I_HAVE_BEEN_USING_SINCE_2006. It is really not that hard to understand. Even my 6 year old daughter understands. Why can't ebay? Example. This morning I find this. Item number: 221043982603 , What I want is for ebay to explain to me why this item inparticular is in a Datsun Keyword Search. This item is not unlike another 10,000 items in the same search. And they all have a common problem. It is the 'compatible makes' . I can tell you right now that a HOLDEN V8 FLYWHEEL is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH A DATSUN IN ANY WAY> Fix this problem please. DO NOT REPLY WITH AN ADVANCED SEARCH SUGGESTION. That will prove that Ebay is not a customer oriented buisness and that ebay is just purely interested in profit.

They really shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. I sold something for $600 on ebay and paypal takes $50 and then I get charged $42 by ebay for listing the thing. hell no, it's legal robbery! and they try and force you to use payment via paypal even if you don't select it.

Yep its 12-13%. That's right, the fees are killer, especially if you get paid by paypal too, your gonna lose another 4% i think there

Sold for $400 charged by ebay $54.
