no reason to indicate its stuffed.
I dont have a running car to test in at the moment. but out of low km car, and only removed due to engine upgrade. It selects fine, and other than some surface rust on the input shaft, looks as good as any other box I have in my possession. I guess like buying any 30 year old gearbox, there is risk involved. but I have no reason to expect this one having problems. I have not had this one stripped and expected, as was confident enough with its history it would be OK to bolt in and go (was to be my spare gearbox)

As per description, I have a 60A (convenitonal shift pattern) 5 speed out of a 1981 Sunny 1.5 coupe.
Removed from running vehicle that had only done 126km (or possibly miles?...) for repowering (by previous owner). Been in dry storage for a little over a year. I have not driven box, but previous owner says it drove fine. It selects very cleanly when I floor tested it. Currently missing clutch fork assembly (will try and source). Have given it a quick water blast, and it looks pretty good. some slight surface rust to input shaft. Can send pic's to interested parties. AU$750 delivered to your door in Australia (ex: NZ). Payment via paypal. Selling to fund my coupe's paint job.... PM or email me if interested thanks Kitch You can view topic.
