This is part of a roll cage. i'm not familiar with it, but it seems they need this for 180 mph or something like this:

Not my car. It's a drag car setup for NHRA rules for i guess the 8 second class.

Kinda like that bed-frame 1200 that was for sale last year. Except this look nicely done.

Is that your car??? 3GS drag or race car? That's a fair bit for a Datsun chasis lol

Could have fixed the floor before installing it.

Bit weird throught the gear box tunnel bit, I know needed for the bracing but would be almost as effective welding it to tunnel then a hoop over top welded to tunnel too
