Bugger, I am in Perth :( And yeah, the front section needed a LOT of trimming to fit, but the rear piece has been 100% overlocked, so I took that to mean its not meant to be trimmed, but the holes for the seatbelt mounts are approx 200mm too far inward (to the centre of the car) and the entire piece is about 1500m too narrow.

Mate moulded carpets don't always fit exactly they need trimming and fiddling to fit.. As stated sbove they fit a lot better with underlay if your in Sydney I may be able to help out with fitting it

Has anyone ever fitted moulded carpets to their ute?

I got the full set made up and delivered from a company here in Aus that will remain nameless, due to the utter crap service I have recieved, and they swear that their moulds were taken from the car itself (as opposed to copied from other moulds) but the rear section they have sent me looks like it wont even be close to fitting, and I wanted to know if this is a common problem? The model they quoted was a 73 ute, and mine is a 79 but I cant find any evidence that there is any floor pan variations between the two.

I will take some pics to show the actual issue tonight, but if anyone has done this I would really appreciate some feedback on your own experiences.
