if you have an a14 your intake/exhaust is likely oval port, so changing to an a15 head is likely more feasible for you, as it too uses oval ports. the a12 head will have round ports. someone else on this site will be able to answer in muuch more detail in respect to the rest of the bits inside the head, if changing from a14 head to a15 head. the answer may lie in the Tech Wiki too..

hi guys. i need some help for my car. right now my car is running on stock A14 engine doing top overhaul now the problem is i have to change the head since it is hard to find one at my place some people told me to change to A12 or A15 head. from what i know the rocker cover is interchangeable so i can use the existing and if i change to A12 or A15 head can i use the existing exhaust intake and carb manifold or i have to change it also? and what is the pros and cons if i use A12 or A15 head? i hope u guys can help and guide. thank you
