Not sure if this is true by by law can you put your horn button on the dash or somewhere else other than your wheel?

yap it is correct. though the ignition on or off the horn should work.
and the other thing is we use relay for only double horn. for a single horn it is not require to use relay.

from memory the horn wire is just a negative trigger, so when the wire is grounded, (eg to some part of the chassis ground) the horn should go. i have not the need for a horn relay, unless i put bigger horns in..? the horn relay you would want to put between the battery and the horn, if you were to use it.. also a horn you might need when the cars ignition is off, so the power should go direct to the battery via a fuse.

hey gents
im trying to put a aftermarket wheel on but m having trouble fguring out which wire activates the relay swtch.im assuming its the brass thing that makes contact with the boss kit the black wire that comes of that, is that where connect my relay to? im also using a 5 pin relay 87- to my horn 30- constant power, just gonna use igniton power 85- ground 86- switch, this wire is where i dont know where to hook up to any help appreciated dose ths sound riht You can view topic.
