New 1200 dash is only $300 USD. Nissan still sell them.
For RHD the gray ones are available from Nissan or B-projects.

My dash is covered with black felt material. Same stuff they cover subwoofer speaker boxes. No more cracks and little fade. And its easy and inexpensive. Just fill the cracks and cover.

i filled my cracks with expanda foam (big cracks) and scraped off the excess, sanded reasonably flat and then covered with a thin foam underlay and retrimmed with leather. probably not the best way but it did the job!
