It's just a bloody bell housing Mik. It's a standard R30 5 speed bell housing. Stop your whining and bring a 63a over for repairs. I've never met such a procrastinator.

Are you able to remove the cover inside the bellhousing, and measure the spacings between the mainshaft, and the cluster? I was told once that's how nissan boxes are catagorised. (ie 56, 60, 63, 71)

got this 5 speed and trying to work out what it is.
All I come up with is that L4 means 4cyl L,series motor. Nmca is Nissan motor cars Australia. No other codes on it at all. Was supposed to be 5 speed stumpy but all I can find are 2 Ozdat articles from 2001 and 2006. Any one seen or had one of these before or can help identify it. Cheers ![]() You can view topic.
