Manifold was a great project and with 500mm long runners and 1.5ltr plenum the torque is great
I lost no bottom end torque even though I increased the size of the intake quite a bit

My 1200 spoiler was to high so I narrowed and lowered it but its to narrow nownow.

Well 1600 one has arrived and I am happy with the fit
It lines up quite nice with the flares is 30mm deeper and sits 30mm lower on the body Would be too low for a pure road car but given this is a track day toy should be pretty good Couple of small mods needed and some spacers in the center behind the number plate to make it sit nice but is almost a bolt on fit Not as good a fit as the 1200 spoiler before the flares but much better with the flares

Well I have spent a couple of hours on this and the results were bad really Bad
But now Ive been and tried it Im happy to move on. Im thinking a modified datsun 1600 version of my spoiler will give the results Im looking for and isnt going to look so silly Funny how what looked so good in my head look so dumb once in prototype

Seriously considered doing this or getting a 1600 one and doing the same thing.
However I have been looking at some of the angled forward lip style ones and thinking that maybe a combination of two styles may give a better performing spoiler. More rigidity with less fiberglass. I have attached my starting point for reference Attach file: wintonSS.jpg (43.42 KB)![]()

why not copy your existing one and add width to the center section?
could almost just fibreglass it together your self easily enough.

My current one is a copy of an old spoiler almost the same as the road spoiler Alfa Motorsport do I think.
This is the rule I want to work to, well the diagram at least. Attach file: Rule.jpg (19.89 KB)![]()
