My sleeves you can use for 45mm struts they just need to be centered before welding, I can supply wedges to use to center them until welded into position

Thanks for that mate, I do remember looking at a thread where someone used busted s13 coilovers. I'd definitely be happy with a setup like that although I don't have the skill to make that up! Quote:
Yeah I have pm'd him but he only makes stuff for larger struts

there is a post on here using s13 rear coil overs to make some for 120y /1200 struts
i have gone and bought second hand pair rear s13 coil overs that were leaking stripped & cut off the threaded section which is 45.3 mm id just enough to slide tightly over 1200/120y strut i stripped 120y strut found some inserts 73mm shorter in body length then cut the section off top of strut where the captive nut is about 50mm below then cut out approx 65mm section and rejoined the top section with the bottom makeing sure that insert goes al the way in might need washer just under depends on measurments mine was fine then slide sleave over top and weld just below top so you can still do up insert nut put springs on and strut top just in middle of welding mine up now total cost with out camber tops 150 with new inserts

Hey guys,
I'm sure there is a slim chance of this but thought I'd try anyway before I go buy a coilover kit from Otomoto. Looking at lowering my ute but want to stick to original 1200/120y gear so if anyone has any shortened disc brake struts or struts that are already converted to coilovers let me know Preferably in NSW You can view topic.
