its a fair comment to say there is alot more too handling than just "deep dish".also what the purpose of car is i.e track/drift/rally etc etc
alot of race cars do use "deep dish" rims but obviously have had a suspension specialist configure their setups and run very good times.
so even tho affecting srub radius, other mods are prob done to counter how car feels or responds.
example of car running superb times in japan and using deep dish..

between strut and ball joint, overall effect of doing this is to change the angle of the lower control arm

by running dish you are affecting scrub radius (or more accurately - different offset wheels)

Scrub Radius

Depends on the centreline of the combo too from my understanding. Massive Meh offsets put it further from centre of car. Ideally you want it as close to centre of the disks too.
Rear wider track to match front would be ideal

so it will only just shorten the life or the parts yeah? so wouldnt a wider wheel with lower offset and wide tire give a missive track and tyre width advantage over thinner wheel.
for exapmle 13 by 6 with 185/60 vs 13 by 8 with 205/60

Neg offset puts huge pressure on.wheel bearings. They tend to tramline more from my experience too

The more the wheel is -offset the more pressure it puts on other components if the front end, ie studs, ball joints!
