just out of curiosity is a 120y speedo the same? as i imagine they would be more easy to get 2nd hand

The main bearing for the speedo is failing & needs replacing. The same thing happened to a mates 120Y. An instruments repair shop here in Sydney fixed it for him, so look in the yellow pages or online under this category. The place in Sydney was a VDO agency & most of the speedo's are by them. hope this helps.

hi all
ive had a quick search but cant see what the fix for this may be. my 79 utes speedo needle has started randomly jumping about, the cable seems good as does the drive from the box so i assume its the speedo itself, can it be fixed or do i just replace it? if replacement is the only option, has anyone got one in brisbane for sale, or someplace else and will post ? thanks
