Luckily have an A15 in the shed which just needs a gasket kit to put together, pulled it apart to inspect it and looks all good...

yeh but the carby was runnin like a dream, that was nearly a week ago, this problem is new...
Anyway update: did a compression test, No. 4 not soo good lol, took the rocker cover off had a looky in there all good.
took the head off, removed head gasket cleaned it up, then started cleaning the carbon build up off the top of the pistons... found this... not cool.
