Nice, did some research last night about it. Always thought that oil somehow leaked out of the apex seals didn't realise it was injected in, cool beans.
Getting real excited about this build now.

the oil metering pump sends sump oil to your inlet for lubrication (yes you read correctly)
the wider the throttle is open the more oil it sends. its very common to remove the oil metering pump and just mix 2 stroke oil into your fuel when filling at the pump. This way you'll know that as long as your engine is getting fuel, its also getting the lubrication it needs because if your running the standard oil metering pump the oil lines do block up and theres no way of knowing unless you check them often. this is why all rotaries (even healthy ones) burn oil

So for the oil metering pump system I will need the sender in the sump and the sender under the oil filter? Would this also mean they connect to some type of warning light or gauge. Maybe a small computer device?

well some of that will be for your omp (oil metering pump) system, if your going to run premix you dont need it. as for the other stuff i know its ugly but i wouldn't really stuff around with it to much you'll only cause yourself more headaches. i would wait till you upgrade carbies to get rid of all that

Yeah its looking fair simple. All the dizzy/coil packs wiring appears to be in one loom. The rest is alternator, starter and a few senders.
The one that is bugging me is the little units with knobs on the top of the engine, they have a vacuum hose to a actuator near the carbie (could be to do with choke) but it currently has a cable choke not electric. I'd like to piss off as many of these vacuum lines and electrical bits as I can if anyone knows what will effect what?

haha i was having a joke, my point was there's not many and half the #OOPS# on your list should already be there from the a12 i dont see many people push starting there datos. im not sure about the electronic choke because i've only ever run webers on rotors and since its carb i dont think it runs an ecu only thing new he'll have to wire in is the fuel pump

yep side to side I was referring to as they have awesome oiling even then and they are perhaps the only engine that gets away wihtout needing dry sumping.

Yes, only 4:
1 Starter + 2 Starter S 3 Alternator + 4 Alternator Earch 1 Engine earth 2 Body earch 3 electric choke 4 Coil 1 ECU 2 Fuel pump well maybe you don't need all those. Retro-fit carb with manual choke and push start it

Got the 13b running in the rx7 today. Fair happy with it so far. Inspired me to start the process of labeling wires I need to keep and getting it ready to pull out once I pick up the crane.
