they are flat slides and should be a fair bit better than gx carbs once tuned. also lots of performance parts, needles and jets are easy to come by and cheep. for better throttle response from idle to 50% throttle its only a matter of fitting a power blade.

hitachis are easy though ,already tuned for a series are bolt on and work pretty well

why would they be any better than hitachi gx?
