#9 Re: Wheel ?

Thanks for the help guys, so the wheels I like are 16x8 +20 offset and the bolt patterns is a 4x114.3. I want to lower my car as much as I can but from what I'm understanding these wont fit my car, is this true and if it is what is the maximum size of the wheel that can be used with a lowered car?

16x8 doesn't matter about ride height or tire rubbing.

Tire size matters.

235/75R16 will rub
175/50R16 might not rub if using +10 offset wheel. It's only 1 inch larger diameter than a stock 12" tire. It is 6.4" lower diameter than a 235/75R16. It will be quite a stretch to fit on 8" wide rim.

tyre is also a big factor. so is ride height. stock ride height with 16x8 will never rub wont even be close to the gaurd

These are 8" wide +30 offset, will rub on the fender.

They are also on a North America B210, so the FRONT offset is considerably different from a 120Y B210.

Stock 4" wide +30 wheels

7" wide wheels +0 offset
Front struts are 280ZX, so offset is reduced back to normal 120Y offset.

7" wide +0 offset with ZX struts/brakes

i have 14x9-0 and they just poke outside the gaurd. 14x8-12 sits pretty good

7" is the maximum width that will fit under the stock bodywork. It will require about +30 offset, so a +20 will not work.

+20 wheel, 8" wide, will poke to the side of the car (tires will rub during driving)

So I finally got my B210 running it turns out the timing was wrong and my carburetor was malfunctioning, replaced it with another one I had and the car started up right away. So now I want to buy some wheels I was thinking of some 16x8 and the offset is +20mm but I want to know if these will fit my car. Is anybody using this size, any suggestions will be helpful?
