Somehow I stuffed up twice but the second time even worse!, they where the H165 ones I had and sold them thinking they where H190s to a speedway guy who called me to say they are H165 and even better for his nephews project. He paid 100 for 3 centres. I decided that Im wasting time with the H190 as Im really going DeDion setup and since Ive had quite a few sales of other things non datsun stuff (BSA, Triumph, alfa, Merc, Ford and Honda) Im all but deflated that Ive failed in the details which Im usually good with. Ive ruined the sale alone and sorry for stuffing up alfas.

Just so peeps keep their eyes open the alfa 105 lsd diff centres command up from 0.8 to 1K each so a handful of these that where going to be used for my datsun were best sold. I have no sympathy for Alfa owners who have driven this price hike for these centres up through the roof Ive only had headaches dealing with alfa romeo wreckers when I owned them.

clyons8 - you didn't ruin a sale, it was an accidental 'crossed wires' deal - they were actually h190 centres not h165 *(which meant two things - 1. most people here wouldn't want em (vs h165 ones) and when the error was discovered, D realised he'd need to keep them for another project that would be running a h190 based diff

My first alloy cased h165 sold to Dodgeman Chris for 80 complete with postage cause I got complete diff for $50 so no big deal all thats left is whats available up the top and have in line 2 peeps if I find some more and will be at cost price plus my time so same price as above if lucky enough to find them again. I go to wreckers on my day off on Wednesdays and usually thats the usual lucky day when the cars come out and available.

What happened to the Ring & Pinions? I would be definitely keen on a 4.875 for $150.00.

I hope I didn't ruin a bargain for anyone by stating what I had paid for the alloy H165. It's just a comparison and the market is too hard to judge.

Dave - Have you put one of the 4.8 centres aside for me? I'm hoping so. Give me a call on the weekend I'll cash you up immediately. I'll happily grab both at one if it suits you. I can give you cash friday night for that matter.

ps DDgonzal - believe it :)

I don't believe it when you say you have paid over $600 for a non-LSD centre ...

That is so ridiculously cheap. I have had to import the 4.375 centres from Japan........ and they cost more than four times that price. Holy Moly.
