Fixed. The screw I adjusted before needed to be loosened even further as it was stopping the little arm that pushes from extending all the way

This joint seems to be the problem. As you can see it has about a 30 degree play in it

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Okay so I loosened this screw a few turns:

which allowed me to close it 100%

but as you can see in this second photo, it doesn't stay closed even though the little arm controlling it doesn't move

Whats up with that?

Thanks ddgonzal for fixing the pics. Just realised I tried linking the pics in album form rather than just the picture I wanted. My bad

There is quite some play in this part;

which allows me to close the choke all the way by hand even though the control arm for it doesn't move.
So my question is. Is something loose, broken or missing. Or is it meant to be how it is?

No, the choke should close 100%, not the 90% closed shown in this photo

So when cold and choke is fully on it should look like this, correct?

Hey fellas. I decided to wire up my electric choke today (it was disconnected when I bought it).
Went down to Jaycar and got the required parts I needed. Found a switched 12v on the ignition harness and ran a wire through the hole where the manual choke goes.
I have a problem that I am not sure about and I will try and explain my best using pictures to help because I don't know the proper names for some things :p

So when cold and choke is fully on it should look like this, correct?

Advice much appreciated
Edit: Pics didn't work so I just added links sorry
