The 4-speed housings are smaller as they don't have the extra gear.
The only thing that interchanges is another 60L tail housing.

Another question gents,
Are any extension housings interchangeable with the 60L?? Perhaps a 4speed housing would be the same?? Cheers.

Ive come into another bother now! :( Im in need of a complete rear casing! Part of the casing has snaped off while my tranny guy was reassembling the bloody box and would prefer a whole one instead of welding and machining it. Hopefully someone has one lying around, please let me know gents! Cheers, Dtrain.

Nissan sell them.
They are the same as the four-speed. Same as Datsun 1000 4-speed even (18000 part number). Not rare. The ring doesn't normally wear out, so you can reuse them.

Hey guys,
In need of 2nd and 3rd gear synchro ring, I beleive the part number to be 32603-18000. Anyone have any parts lying around or know any good contacts to source them from? Any help greatly appreciated! cheers!
