12/74 is a 1975 Model year vehicle.
The BW68 was only used an Australia-manufactured sedans. All coupes and other exports sedans used the H150.

I just want something simple to replace - sick of making parts fit...
Was under there last night looks like a H150 - has bolts not studs, and the car is 12/74 - i read on another side that it was H145 until 8/74 then went to H150, before finally the BW68. Wil be making a trip to upullit on the weekend... drained the remaining sludge from the diff (250ml at most) and topped up with engine oil to get me through the rest of the week....

had you considered swapping out the h145 diff altogether for the slightly larger h165... Not many mods are needed, i just swapped them out in the coupe ive got and the only mod we needed to do is move the handbrake cable position on the diff a few inches so that i could use the existing handbrake cable...

Please let me know what you have available, prefer local pickup. I have 74 120Y - been told 1200 centre is same... You can view topic.
