Perhaps. The aftermarket panels may include the grille attachment points for any kind of the three grilles.
For mounting a Coupe grille on a Sedan, see Grille. There are two aprons from Nissan: One with coupe-type grille attachments and one without. Three core supports, one with sedan grille brackets, the other without. And a different one for the square headlight 1200.

So I'm assuming it's a ute you bought. The front guards are all the same. Later model utes have plastic grills and therefore they attach differently to the front apron. The later model aprons have a number of mounting tabs welded along the top of them, which is where the plastic grill screws in to. I know the sedan and most likely the coupes also had a slightly different shape where the bumper bar irons pass through the apron as well.

I just bought a 1973 Australian model datsun 1200 does anyone know if the front guards aprons and grills are interchangeable between the later models 78 onwards thanks
