So I ordered some more goodies for the ute today, have been hunting around for some decent carbs as well. From a quick search its around the $1300 mark for a rebuilt setup of twin 40 Webers with manifold, gasket and linkages. If anyone has some they want to get rid of give me a yell.

List of goodies on their way:

- Woodgrain Nardi Classic with Black spokes
- Cusco Strut Brace
- Various new rubbers for the engine bay
- Sunny 'S' Mark Grille emblem to suit my new grill (Most Speno' bit of plastic I have ever bought I reckon!)
- Original style 'Sunny' rear gate sticker
- New engine slinger hook for the A12 as mine is bent to fark!
- 13 x 7j +0 offset SSR Starsharks/Colins off of Leith on here.

Also I had a parcel arrive from PNG today so I was pretty stoked to open it and check out the JDM weather shields I ordered from Clyons8, a massive thanks goes out to him as they are very well put together and will suit the ute perfectly! Can't wait to fit them up and have a look. Here is a quick pic.

Thanks mate, yeah definitely have a JDM style in mind while building this up. Negative offsets actually put the rims further outside of the fenders. I have got a hold on some new SSR's for the rear which will sit 7mm further inwards than the current ones I have, so it will all be sweet.

yes you're right in that term.i should have stated if you are after quite a considerable deepdish look, then negative offset would be the way to go in my opinion.

very nice gear there mate.car will look awesome when finished.

keep the updates coming.

also ur username says alot. "sanitora" term is usually mostly used in japan for sunny.so you are obviously into jdm styling.nice selection of rims.try and get ones with negative offsets so they sit inside fenders more without flares.without fenders, you might attract fines.
waiting for updates mate.

cheers

Cheers for the compliments lads, have another little update but no current photos. Pulled the little A12 and gearbox out today and started to tidy up the engine bay. Going to pull the head off and see what it looks like tomorrow if I get some time and see how bad it is. Otherwise an A14 could be on the cards. I have also had a change of mind with Weber 32/36, probably going to go the way of twin 40's now. So if anyone is after a rebuilt 32/36 conversion kit give me a PM!

Here is some more photos off facebook, first one is the colour I have chosen to paint it, the second is the style I am going for with the build and the final is one of the weber kit. Instead of a cut up Mira bar I have gone with the VW 'Duck-bill' two piece spoiler, which rocked up awhile ago. I also have a pair of the standard fender mirrors to go on which I will get a photo up soon once they are all mocked up. Should all go well together.

Interior: As cool as the red bucket seat is haha I have been collecting bits to replace the old brown interior of the ute with all new black components. I have pretty much got everything I need, except for a new woodgrain Nardi wheel and the radio. I'll probably go with one of the retrosound units so I don't have to hack up the dash at all. I also have to do a bit of rewiring to make the tacho work with the electronic distributor. Anyway, here are some more pictures of the gear I have collected.

Yes, sanitora is slang for SUNNY-TRUCK (torakku)

The little red seat is a bucket for SpongeBob Squarepants!
